Well currently I have 2 because am running 2 seperate loops. The reason I want to run both in a single loop, is because I dont think a single pump will give me enough flow for all this gear:

EK CPU block,
EK motherboard full coverage
2xEK 5870 blocks
120GTX rad
360GTX rad
~10 ft 1/2 tubing
4-5 sets of QDC fittings

Of course I could get a mega pump but I want to use what I have

From my own testing, definitely go with a cooling stage BEFORE return to the reservoir though, returning hot water to the reservoir means you're keeping a large volume of heated water, whereas if you cool it prior to return to the res, you keep the overall temperatures down inside your PC.

My main rig lost 5c off of the loop temperature with a cooler just before the reservoir return. anoob has it layed out that way in his schematic

^^ cool thanks for the input. I have always had my rads right after the pump so the blocks get the absolute coolest liquid possible (pump can add heat)

What you said about having hot water in the res makes sense, but if you look at my case (in the build log in sig) you can see that I got no problem getting heat out of the case

Thanks guys, I think I may just experiment a few different configs since I am gonna break it all down. Ill post some results when I'm done, perhaps it will help someone else down the line!
