i7-950 4.0GHz - Page 2

Nice we have the same case and the same chip... Like I said Im crusing at 4.0Ghz at 1.264 volts.. but IM GETTING terrible GFLOPS like 38 and 36... As soon as i bump my volts to like 1.33 itll go to the 60s im sure... why is this?!?! do i jsut have to find a balance where my Gflops are high and my vcore is acceptable or GFLOPS dont madder and just keep low voltage?

My first order I had the Sabertooth but it would always BSOD me and would only read 4gb instead of 6gb *which I hear is a problem for all x58 chips* so I sent it back and decided to go with a different MB ASUS P6X58D Premium bc of better reviews; but cost more. Could really be a MB issue.

Hm i have had 0 problems with this mobo.. Hopefully when i got 6 gb RAM i wont have a problem.. I DO hope you read the manual and placed the ram in
a1, b1 and c1, and not a1 a2 b1 lol your motherboard wont read that no for triple channel it must be in the correct slots.

Well i will not lie, when I first put it together I did put them in A1, B1, C1 but they where suppose to be in A2, B2, C2. But the computer would not even boot up. What happened to me is after 2 weeks of having put the computer together my computer started to BSOD *now i had never even thought about ocing it* and the memory issue started along with BSOD that made the computer unusable. You can Google "sabertooth memory issue"on google, also new egg reviews; and you can see the issue has affected many. But since your system is running smoothly then I don't think you will have the issue.
