I have a 32GB iPad that I am looking to sell. I was going to go with the iPad 2 32GB white but now that i saw you can get the Xoom for $539 i might buy one at my local sams club. Are theyre and good reviews yet that compare the two side by side? Also is there a list or some way i can see what apps they have for android tablets?

They're both beast tablets. Just keep in mind, the iPad has 65,000+ apps, honeycomb has less than 100.. (When the Xoom came out a week or so ago, there was only 12, I don't imagine theres many more already)

Do you use apps on your iPad?

Oh yah all day, i use my iPad instead of a laptop for classes. Plus i have a bunch of fun games like pocket legends and words with friends to screw around with. I love my iPad but i also like to try new products and i love android. But as you mentioned only a 100 apps for the tablet makes me steer away from it. I knew the iPad was killing the android tablets in apps but didnt realize it was that bad. Looks like iPad 2 here i come!

I would keep the iPad, your first one. IOS is still all the same. Really sad OS to be honest. Just upgrade when you need it and it is worth upgrading.

The new A5 and being able to skype on my iPad is reason enough for me to upgrade.

hey Raffy, do you have an iPhone?
if not, get the Xoom. Android > iOS
and Tegra 2 > A5

A Xoom for $539? Where? Xoom's usually require 2 year Activations with Verizon otherwise they are $799.

Deffinitly get the iPad 2 then, thankfully.. Apple products hold their value quite well, you should still get like 40-60% of what you payed for it, so the upgrade will only cost you a few hundred.

Personally, I'm waiting to see what people can do with the new hardware, but otherwise I'll just get a refurb. I totally forgot about being able to Skype! That's a HUGE reason for me to get the iPad 2.
