App count is a pointless metric. Do you have 60,000 apps installed on your iPad? I would love to see that.
Plus Honeycomb is an OS designed specifically for tablets, while the iPad just runs a smartphone OS with tablet apps.
What exactly can the iPad do that the Xoom can't?
App count is not pointless at all. If Xoom has less than 100 tablet apps then what is the point? There is none, software is what is killing the android tablets right now. Both Xoom and iPad 1/2 can do all the same stuff. Thats why i created this thread and then i found out the software issue was extremely worse than i though (100 tablet apps not enough for me).
Guess ill be trying to get my hands on an iPad 2 next week sometime. Can wait to have skype in my hands, now i can lay in bed and skype away! So the question is who wants to buy my 32GB iPad ($400 w/original box, all accessories, ZAGG shield and incase or $435 and ill include the dock w/keyboard)Edited by RAFFY - 3/7/11 at 4:29pm
