hmm...I dont want to turn this into a flame thread but android doesn't even come close to ios in terms of simplicity. Sure you can customize alot of stuff on android but that's only for geeky/tech people, average users don't care about those stuff.

tegra 2's been out for a while and still haven't been in any good products until maybe the xoom (maybe..) and without apps, it doesn't do @#$% in this competition. Unless you only want to surf internet without Flash on your xoom (yes the xoom is lack of flash too when shipping)

In summary, I'd rather buy iPad 2 because I want product that's worth my money not just an anti-Apple fan.

Android and iOS should not be compared, they both have their ups and downs, and neither one is greater for another. Decide which one is best for you, by the features you need.

I just like Android because to me, iOS is too simplistic and locked down.

and seeing as this is an overclocking forum I'm assuming Raffy isn't as simple as the "average user"

There is absolutely no reason to upgrade. Xoom has nice hardware but no software to utilize it. Wait until Xoom gets more apps.

I am actually thinking about picking up an v1 iPad. They should go really cheap on craigslist.

Removable storage that you can use for any thing without the need for iTunes, a larger screen, and its $60 cheaper?

App count is a pointless metric. Do you have 60,000 apps installed on your iPad? I would love to see that.

Plus Honeycomb is an OS designed specifically for tablets, while the iPad just runs a smartphone OS with tablet apps.

What exactly can the iPad do that the Xoom can't?

App count is not pointless at all. If Xoom has less than 100 tablet apps then what is the point? There is none, software is what is killing the android tablets right now. Both Xoom and iPad 1/2 can do all the same stuff. Thats why i created this thread and then i found out the software issue was extremely worse than i though (100 tablet apps not enough for me).

Guess ill be trying to get my hands on an iPad 2 next week sometime. Can wait to have skype in my hands, now i can lay in bed and skype away! So the question is who wants to buy my 32GB iPad ($400 w/original box, all accessories, ZAGG shield and incase or $435 and ill include the dock w/keyboard)

I would keep the one you got. Otherwise you should have sold your iPad a week ago as the value just dropped with the iPad2. I think you can get maybe $400-$450 for yours now. So take that and upgrade so is $150 worth it to upgrade.

Simplicity and locked down? That's what makes the iPad so great and popular. You can always jailbreak if you want to live life dangerously and rebelliously. Even though iOS has got the Android app market beat 6,500:1, doesn't necessarily make it better, just means there's more crap out there but there are a lot of quality apps out there and many of them are free too.

Apps are pretty much why the iPad sold 15 million, and why the Android tablets hardly sell.

It's MUCH less than 100 apps.

I would go with iPad 2 since Apple has really good batterytime and I will buy one myself when the release is here in Sweden.
