Looking for unlockable/flashable 6950

Thread Starter
I'm looking for a 6950 that I can flash to a 6970 and unlock shaders for... it seems this is becoming increasingly difficult to find. I can only seem to find revisions of cards that once allowed this. Can anyone point me in the right direction? I'd greatly appreciate any assistance anyone can give me on this. Thanks!

Looks like the Saphire and the HIS are still version 1 per pictures in newegg.com. I got my HIS about 3 weeks back from Amazon and they were version 1. I think you can take your chance with Amazon HIS or Saphire and return them if they are not revision 1.

Awaz, I was looking at the Sapphire next, but I noticed there's 2 model numbers listed for this card.

The one I see everywhere is (100312SR). But there's another one I saw places that starts with 2. I'm not sure which one is the revision.

Ok, the other Sapphire model # is 21188-00-40R.

I have no clue what the difference is.

You don't want those crap cards anyways cuz they were pulled for not unlocking.

By anything that's not MSI (I got a feeling XFX is shippping rev2 also though) at Amazon that fits your price cuz they have the easiest return policy.
