EVGA e760 Bios 77 Serious issues after successful update. Stumped

Hey All,

Ok so, After updating via CD image to Bios 77 with absolutely no errors, I booted into windows with the defualt settings totaly fine. However, after loading my OC settings, my rig wouldn't even so much as post. In the end I gave up and just tried running it with my ram clocked up to what its meant to be at as I'm running a 6GB kit of Corsair DDR3 Dominator GT (c7) with its voltage set to 1.65 (3 x 2GB DIMMs)

Again... wouldn't even post no matter what I did. After reverting back to defualt settings once more (via CMOS clear) everything was fine... for one more boot.

After My next restart it wouldn't POST again, so naturaly I powered down and tried it again only to hear one craaaazy beep code (more like a melody than the usual beep codes) and to find the next thing on my screen saying something along the lines of:

CMOS Checksum Error
Keyboard Not Found
Drive not found
etc.

Upon restarting again my system just hung in a constant power on and off cycle with no POST, beep codes or anything. I stripped down to bare bones and found the system would only do ANYTHING if I ran only one DIMM however it still hung right before the memory check (after my CPU info) shows up and eventualy the video signal would switch off due to the hang and there is nothing else I can do

I have absolutely no control over anything else so I can't reflash the bios. Am I contacting EVGA to send me out a new chip or is there something else I can try?
Thanks in advance guys

EDIT: The FF code it hangs on is 4E and it switches to code 68 once the video signal dies

I read somewhere that the code 4E had something to do with the Memory check the occurs during POST. Maybe this can explain the reason why I can only run 1 DIMM do get that far?

Also I DO get a post beep before it hangs. It hangs right before the memory check usually appears under my CPU info.

No one has any Ideas on how to get this thing passed the memory check? I'm guessing I'll have to RMA the board or upgrade to a C3

Ok so I just hooked up my brand new Classified3 only to find Im getting the exact same problem...

The Board POSTs with a single beep (successful) and within the same moment, it hangs on code 4E. On screen it hangs on the CPU info, right before the memory test.

So this seems to be either a memory or CPU issue. Its either hanging on 4E as there's an error where it cant properly initiate the memory test (also I should add it doesn't post at all with more than one DIMM)

OR

Its the CPU for obvious reasons.

Neither of which have shown even a hint of failing in the past, how could updating the BIOS on a board cause this? Also, I have cleared the CMOS on the new board to no avail.

Any more insight?

EDIT: After a few seconds the screen goes blank and just sits there with code 68. On the Classified3 the it power cycles after a few min to the same result, only it hangs indefinitely after this and does not power cycle again. The old Classified just hung indefinitely (not sure if this is relevant)

In the POST Code section of the handbook, it states this.

4E | Init APIC | Initialize APIC and set MTRR

68 | Reserved |
