That's a pretty bold statement to make
I don't see how, it makes you look inferior or greedy? It's infact expanding the capability of the console. Many PC gamers would love to play on console because all they want to do is plug and play, with the added support of keyboard and mouse.(don't have to worry about installing, having the correct drivers/OS etc...).

[edit] Right now seems perfect too, Sony can't afford the legal battles and make a new console. This could really put the hurt on.
Touché lol

Oh man with all the constant legal issues even if Sony does get a move on it soon the costly expenses they're currently experiencing will surely set their next console's development and release cycle at least a few months if not further behind MS's next console although that would give them more time to churn out a console with fresher tech

Edit: no power brick is a plus for me :3 makes things so much easier without one

lol what?
I think it's quite the opposite.
for the "real" enthusiasts anyway.
But if you're talking about 10 year olds, then you would be right.

I'm not bashing on consoles, but at this time and age the 360/PS3 is starting to lack in the general experience of graphics and resolution hence why i said that a "real" gaming enthusiast wouldn't make such a stupid decision to revert to a console.
As for the PS4 and w/e else things will change.

I would love to have a cheap pc for internet browsing an such with a xbox hooked up for gaming. Would be much cheaper for me but I just can't stand controllers. I do own a xbox 360 but I can't play it for more then an hour without raging out. Keyboard and mouse I can game for hours.

Get any of the numerous adapters I stated, you could probably afford one with the money you would save getting a cheaper computer. Win win?

Expanding the capability? Consoles are very capable of handling mouse and keyboard support, in fact they do. You can write messages with a normal keyboard plugged into a USB, but can't game because it completely kills the level playing field where everybody is using the exact same hardware and controlling device. If you throw precise things like a mouse into the picture, it just becomes cheap and completely destroys part of the reason consoles exist in the first place! The only way I can even see your point making sense is if I was a greedy PC gamer who couldn't hold my own on PC.

"Real" gaming enthusiasts aren't restricted to only PC. An enthusiast is somebody who is highly interested in a particular subject. There is no requirement of being a PC gamer to be a gaming enthusiast.
