Broken Harddrives ? :/

Thread Starter
So last night I left my computer on overnight setting it to turnoff when it finished processing things. When I woke up in the morning it was off and I thought all is well, but I didn't turn it back on until after I got home from school. It doesn't want to boot. At first it started off with it booting up windows, then crapping out and saying that it will run a consistency test on my drives.
After which the computer restarts, goes straight to booting windows and a "runtime error" appears.
I also tried to boot in safe mode but it wouldn't boot either. AND Now just whenever I turn on my computer, the windows boot screen doesn't even show of only goes straight to "Windows error recovery" in which I can pick to either launch startup repair which sort of does something but ultimately doesn't solve the problem, or I can go to "Start windows normally" and then it bluescreens...Help?

Picture of the error that I coincidentally took before it stopped appearing and bluescreening began

It sounds like possibly bad hard drives. Download something like Seatools and burn it to disk and then run the tests on the hard drives. This will tell you if your one or both of your hard drives are bad.

It also could just be that your raid array became corrupt (without bad hard drives) since you are running raid 0. I had that happen when I was running 2 seagate 500gig's in raid 0. The raid array became corrupt and it hosed my system. I did a reformat and it ran fine until a year later one of my drives died.

Ran Seatools and it would appear that both drives are good. Any other suggestions on how to solve this problem without a format?

http://www.file.net/process/nvvsvc.exe.html

Information on that nvvsvc.exe.
Apparently, it's a nVidia Driver Helper Service.

Thanks for that, however I still can't get in to remove it because I can't get into windows, even in safe mode.

Boot to your Windows 7 install DVD and use the Startup Repair Option to see if that can fix it. You might want to go back to a previous restore point as well.
