Pokemon Black/White Question

Can you capture the Pokemon that are available in Blue/Red, Gold/Silver, Ruby/Sapphire, Pearl/Diamond in Pokemon Black/White?

And can you go to those regions within the game?

Every Pokemon ever made is in that game. Can't confirmed the region question.....Still have to beat it.

1.)Of the few that you can catch, you can catch only after you beat the story; kinda like HGSS.
2.)Nope.

You can "Pokeshift" (Pal Park, basically) the ones you can't catch in game from DPPtHGSS, though.
Random, but not even any evolutions of older ones in this batch. All of them are new.

Why don't they just make one modern pokemon game that allows you to go to ALL places and beat all gyms? basically like all of the games in one.

You would have to use a generation 4 game, along with Black/White's Poke Transfer or through the Dream World.

You can not visit other regions.

Well thanks guys.
I know I am super late on the DS bus, but I bought one today for $80.
A crimson red DS Lite.

Just so I can play the Pokemon games.

So the DS is at the end of it's life span right?

I feel like I made a dumb purchase

I just bought a refurb DS phat for $60 at gamestop; there's still a wide variety of games you can play on them and $80 really doesn't hurt

Looks like I am not the only one then

Phew

I am trying to convince my buddy to also jump in and play Pokemon again, and he maybe able to.

But since I am a noob with the DS, do you really need the Web cartridge for Wi-Fi internet?

The DS Lite has built in wifi, but you must use WEP with the Lite. WPA doesn't work.

But how do I connect?

All I see is a calendar at the top screen and "pictochat" or whatever on the touch screen.
