Help me make a HTPC from a optiplex gx520?

Ok so I got a old Optiplex gx520 from a friend.
My goal is to make a cool little Theater PC.

Here is what Im working with
Celeron D
PCI slot
and 2x DDR2 slots

So First question is will my old Q9550 work with it?
Im pretty sure they are both LGA 775, but does that even matter?

I have some DDR2 sticks

I dont have a PCI vga card, In order to play decent Video, I'll prob buy a new one anyway but this thing has to be super low profile.

Anyone got any Ideas?
Even if I just scrap the guts and use the case, thats cool. I really just want to make a little HTPC out of it.

BTW the mobo is an Alien Form factor...
If I get a new board I'll have to make some sort of I/O area.

Still nothing....
come on ppl!

so far from what I have found is:
NO a Q9550 will definitely NOT work in it.

Yes there are plenty of PCI (not pcie) low profile "ready cards for it"

And I still don't know what the form Factor is called.

I am very interested in putting a MATX or MITX board in it, but If I can find the form factor that it is, and utilize the Original I/O area, it would be sweet.

From What I can find a gx7xx will run a Q9550.

Man the idea is to take a piece of junk and turn it in to some thing cool.
It's not going to be a sig rig, just a Little theater pc.

If no one here is interested in a
Out of the ordinary, Challenging build, then fine maybe I'm in the wrong forum for help.

These PC's are a dime a dozen and easy to get. It may be a easy conversion for a theater PC.
this thing is almost as small as a Xbox. I see Tons of potential in this case, with a Super small Form Factor, Built in PSU, and a Laptop size DVD drive.
