Is the -smp flag added correctly? It should look like this:

Yes the flag was added correctly, as I have been adding flags to shortcuts for other applications for a while now. It may be that I had downloaded a unicore WU (250000 steps) in the beginning, but I left the client with the -smp flag run for about 10 hours straight without disturbing it, and it looks like I have downloaded a(n?) SMP WU (500000 steps) and now it's running all my cores at 100 percent. So I guess I just had to finish my unicore WU.

Don't you have to add the number of cores you want to fold on after the -smp like if your running a X6 wouldn't it be -smp 6?
No... "-smp" will use all available cores, while "-smp x" allows you to specify the number of cores to use, where 'x' is the number of cores.
