The Temp0 in here is the motherboard CPU temp sensors, and it it usually 7-10C higher than the core CPU temps. (I'll upload my HWMonitor screen to show you when I get a chance)

I think your temps are causing you instability problems. When OCed, AMD chips tend to BSOD when temps get into high 50s. These Deneb cores are sensitive to temps, and the cooler you can run them, the higher you can OC them.

Do you have sufficient airflow in the case? Try to see what kind of temps you get if you take off the side panel on your case.
38°C idle is fine, i don't know where you got that but it's not true. I idle @ 33°C under water (ambient 20°C), load 47°C. On my 212+ i was at 36°C idle.

Got it torture testing for 8 minutes on P95 blend upping voltages! What's a safe voltage for the 1.2v HT and memory on an NVidia chipset?

I think I am almost there.

You must be reading the MB CPU temps or something else is not right, because my CPU is idling at 20C.

TMPIN1 is the MB CPU sensor (for my MB,) and that is only at 29C. Core sensors are at 20C.
I'm using a 5 year old Arctic Cooling Freezer 64 cooler.

That's with CnQ ! if you're overclocking you should disable it.

And it primes! Have HT and NB volted at 1.4v and Memory Voltage set at 2.13v

This is it. I am not so worried about the HT frequency since from what I have been able to read up on the HT should be under the NB frequency anyhow, and upping it the extra 300 nets no performance increase of note.

I just hope the voltages aren't too high. This mobo does not have an NB temp sensor, but on the other hand, it does actually come with a big horking heat sink for the NB compared to some other mobos.

Thanks! I have a 4 Ghz processor that primes now.

First of all you guys can not compare idle temps.Local ambient temps can affect this greatly.Load temps are what is important.I like to keep AMD's at 52c max. That being said 54c might be ok.You need more VDDNB voltage-should be around 1.4v.This is your IMC.NB voltage should be around 1.4v too.RAM depends on the RAM,but my GSkill 1.5v worked well at 1.7v overclocked. Also check if you have LLC.Setting this around 30% can help vdroop.Best thing is to take a picture of your bios overclocking screen and post it.

EDIT^ didn't see your post.Yes my nVidia NB liked 1.5v as well.The HTT should auto-adjust itself.You should have a NB multiplier though.Max HTT voltage also,mine was 1.38v I think?

Yeah, I am almost tempted to turn the memory voltage down since the NB voltage and 1.2v HT voltage increases seem to have done more than anything else.

Here's the benches from everest for the memory.

CPU Queen 28755
CPU Photoworxx 23688
CPU ZLib 104827
CPU AES 28258
FPU Julia 11509
FPU Mandel 6613
FPU SinJulia 3429

I'm Happy.

Ahh okay Redwoodz. I have no good way of posting that... but... I am going to write my settings down and post them in the other thread if this looks like a good overclock.

I'll let the computer Idle overnight or maybe render a movie or something and see what happens now.

it proved totally stable in all the games that i play... i ran a few 5 minute passes with gpu tool.... i havent tried prime 95 though.. i wish it was free. but ive had it like this for about 3 weeks now and its okay.. im just having issues with my ram/ gpu's when it comes to REALLY heavy loads..
Here's how my BIOS looks now... i know i dont have the same Mobo but every little bit helps .. :-p
