If this makes you feel any better. Digital Extremes is handling the PC version of homefront.

If you dont know who Digital extremes is. If you have played the PC version of Unreal, Unreal tournament, Unreal tournament 2003,2004 specifically. You played the version that Digital Extremes had done the work on. Epic was handling the console versions then. Those games were awesome, why? because of digital extremes, notice when unreal tournament 3 came out, and epic handled all versions of the game, the PC version was crap, they messed up everything about PC gaming in that release. Epic has always gotten credit for those games, when it should have been DE.

So a studio that is PC based in their blood, and know the unreal engine, and their multiplayer is handling the PC version. I say that is good hands if you ask me. They have even already stated they have redone balance on weapons and vehicles, based on the fact that console and PC are entirely different beasts.
Yea I understand that a different company is developing the PC version. While that does help me feel a bit better, I'm still going to hold off buying the game until I see how well it does. I don't really see the point of pre-ordering PC games these days, I mean you can still get them day 1, and you can wait and read reviews and watch gameplay videos before you buy it. That way no money gets wasted in the event the game flops or has some major bugs that need to get worked out.

I'm just being smart with my money, I've been ripped off pre-ordering games in the past, and I don't really feel like losing another 50$ on a game that ends up doing poorly.
