Future build watercooling ?

Thread Starter
im planning on building the following build when all the parts become available and im really doing the watercooling to get as quiet as i can (and get my cpu to 4.5ghz ) and i was wondering if this setup would still be near silent with the watercooling components im using... thx in advance oh and also i was wondering, if i get the 1200w psu would it be quieter than getting say an 950w psu since its designed to handle more power? whats ur guys opinion on powerful yet quiet psus?

COOLER MASTER HAF X
ASUS RAMPAGE III EXTREME
CORSAIR AX1200W (UNSURE)
INTEL COREI7 990X @ 4.5GHZ
CORSAIR DOMINATOR GT 12GB 2000MHZ
NVIDIA 590GTX (WHEN RELEASED)
OCZ VERTEX 3 120 SSD
PLEXTOR PXLB9505SA BDBURNER

CPU WB: KOOLANCE CPU-370
MOTHERBOARD WB: KOOLANCE MBASR3E
VIDEOCARD WB: WHEN ONE COMES OUT FOR IT
RESERVOIR: EK-BAY SPIN 5.25 DUAL-BAY
PUMP: SWIFTECH MCP655
RADIATOR: BLACK ICE SR1 420

NOW I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN LOOP THE CPU, GPU AND MB IN ONE LOOP WITH THESE COMPONENTS AND BE OK TO OVERCLOCK MY CPU TO AT LEAST 4.5 AND REMAIN SUPER QUIET... POSSIBLE? ALSO IM WILLING TO CHANGE UP WHAT I USE TO WATER COOL IF I CAN GET IT ALL TO FIT INSIDE THE HAF X AND REMAIN QUIET... IF YOU GUYS HAVE ANY SUGGESTIONS...

PS I REALLY DONT WANT TO HAVE AN EXTRA RADIATOR STICKING OUT THE BACK OF THE CPU... LOOKS HORRIBLE IMO

I think your going to need a bigger rad. An i7 requires a 360mm rad by itself. I would get two 360s. If I'm not mistaken you can fit two 360s in a HAF X.

A 360 rad can handle a GPU and CPU but beyond that its a stretch it also depends on how high of an oc you are aiming for. Also I would go with the 335 not the 655 mobo blocks are restrictive as hell. Otherwise its a solid build and a HAF can take a 360 up top and a 240 bottom if you mod the case for future reference.

one more thing make sure your rad fits. if your case says 120mm fans make sure you get a 120mm rad and not a 140mm. i made this mistake my first build. fail me.
