Cpu coolers of smaller dimensions

Thread Starter
I want to get some good cpu cooling for my new pc, after having had a look to the forum i was keen to get the thermalright silver arrow but unfortunately it is to big for my case and so would be the noctua d 14.
What would the best choice for a smaller cpu cooler?

Thanks for your reply...the Hyper would still have roon issue, i was quite attracted by the H50 or H70 but i dont know about their noise level and i read about some leakage problems

The only time I have heard of the H50 or H70 leaking is when people try to mod them into a ghetto full watercooling system.

Other coolers you might want to take a look at are the prolimatech megahalems and prolimatech armageddon. The megahalems is higher performance than the armageddon but the armageddon is thinner.

What case are you working with? It's hard to recommend a cooler when we don't know what kind of space you are dealing with.

Technically you can use the Hyper 212+ if you remove your side panel fan. Your clearance for a cooler is 169mm without the side panel fan and the hyper 212+ sits at 158mm tall. Your clearance w/ the fan is 144mm.

Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro if you need maximum space savings.

The 212+ would definitely be a better choice if you're looking for a decent overclock though.

I have the same case and im going to mod the top of it to take a H100 , great sound levels amazing cooling and if you set it up as a push pull with 4 fans instead of 2 youll increase your airflow in the case considerably.
