New gaming build 1200-1500 budget

Thread Starter
I was doing research all night guys and i cant seem to get a system together without going over 1500. The things that i want in my system is sli, 1 ssd drive and one 1tb storage drive. i5 2500k, and have my system as cool as possible on air. So far it seems like the case and the cooling system is putting me over the top. I was originally looking at a noctuna 14d for $90. is there a cheaper option that works just as good. And my case i was thinking about a antec 900 2 series but thats about 130 sighs. Why cant i find a deal like before where i got a cm690 for 30 bucks. Any help would be appreciated. thanks

I hate to be 'that guy', but there are always tons of threads like this here. I posted in two yesterday alone on this board. Look around and compare notes. Check Anandtech and Toms Hardware for benches and get a full list going. THEN post in here. Researching it is half the fun and definitely increases the reward feeling you get when you finally put it all together.

if your considering the 480, look at the 570 newer card, lower price, and better performance

a single gtx480 is not a wise option to go with, for less price people can get better setup like gtx570,hd6970,
or,
2x hd6950/2x gtx560ti (price little over than a single gtx480

I hear two 460's are actually quite badass. There was a bench on Toms about it not too long ago.
