I'm unable to go to Windows, please help!

Thread Starter
It started when I'm putting my USB drive to my sig PC to transfer some files to my Local Disk D: and it suddenly BSODed, something about hyber or something, well it sounded like hibernating. Then I restarted it and it went to recovery disk, attempting to repair my disks. After that, it booted past the windows logo but only showing a blank dark screen with the mouse pointer in the middle that I can't move. I tried to go to safe mode and it was the same thing, Then removing my bios battery, unplugged the power and waited more than 20 seconds. Still, no luck.
Is it a Windows problem? Or my SSD is malfunctioning?

Please help me, the computer that's affected is my sig rig.

Try a startup repair. F8 to get into Safe Mode menu. It should be an option two or three items under Safe Mode.

Do you still have your USB drive plugging in? Have you tried remove it and reboot again? I had failed USB components that prevented me from getting into windows be4.

Sometimes the start up repair process takes a few try's.So don't give up on it yet.

I have everything plugged out except for mouse and keyboard. I can confirm that my SSD isn't dead thankfully by putting it in an external enclosure. My laptop immediately recognized. It's just that I can't get beyond that black screen with a mouse pointer stuck in the middle when it's plugged in my main computer, even if I'm in safe mode. I even left at 9:30 and came back at 16:00 from school and it still stuck there. I think it might be a windows error but what error is it?
BTW, I tried startup repair again and it says that it's fine and indicates that it booted to the OS successfully. But when I restarted my PC, it's stuck on that black screen with the mouse pointer like it froze.

Sorry but anyone? Little bump.
What did I miss?
If you still didn't get it well the problem is that once the windows logo goes away, the screen turns black and then turns on again but only displaying a mouse cursor that I can't move and it stuck there for ever even if I go to all 3 safe modes. There's no drive activity light. And start up repair couldn't find a error.

Do you have another PC you can install the drive into as a slave drive?

The SSD drive? Yes, I do have one but it's not truthfully mine. But I have a laptop and an external enclosure that I can plug my 2.5 inch SSD in. And my SSD works fine my laptop can detect it.

Try booting off of a Live CD and see if that works. If it does then you will know whether its a hardware issue or a software issue and can go from there.

OK, when connected to the laptop, can you access the SSD?

In other words, are all the files and folders etc. there?

If so, can you run chkdsk on the SSD?
