Raid0 stripe size benchmarks

Hey guys.

I've been benching my new server a bit, and I've come across something weird.

Raid0 stripe size 8kb
stripe8.jpg

Raid0 stripe size 256kb
stripe256.jpg

Hardware:

4x Seagate Barracuda LP (Barracuda Green 5.9k rpm) 2TB Drives
Connected to HP p410 Raid Controller with 512mb cache.
Win Server 2008r2 x64 Standart

Q1: Sholdnt stripe size make a difference?
Q2: Shouldnt these numbers be a lot higher, since the controller should use cache?

Am I missing some config in windows or on the raid controller itself?

Thanks,

tom
