Sometimes I think most of you just don't read anything and just post to get your post count up higher.

Please read the replies of the thread before replying too. We already established that the RAM modules are okay. The problem lies in the motherboard, or the CPU. It can't be a virus, because he reformated (I hope he did when he reinstalled Windows) unless he is that unlucky that he has an MBR virus. But very very very unlikely and it can be deleted with a slow-full format.

I think i was clear enough in my answer And belive me i ve red them.
Unlikelly is not a word to be used in his situation as his PC is still not working.
The reply was made directly to the code he posted.Alureon is not a joke virus.

He should do all things possible to fix the problem and swaping is a way to find the problem. Some Memtest passes don t show you the RAM beeing 100% good as the modules need to be tested each one separatelly for many hours .

I really dont understand what you are trying to tell.

So your suggestion is swap out motherboard and both RAM modules?

There are two things coming to my mind.
First up there is a second way to disable automatic restart, and this one shouldn't produce an error as it's before you actually boot into windows. Second, have you checked your RAM timings? On my motherboard if I let the motherboard set the RAM Timings automatically then it'll BSOD. I have to manually set the timings to what my RAM is manufactured to run at.

In order to disable automatic restart the second way. When the computer is booting up press "F8" this'll bring up the option of Safe-mode etc. One of the options is to boot up into windows without automatic restart. Goodluck.

Yes ,when BSOD-s start pooring in you need to start swaping your components to some working system. It s hard ,takes time ,but there is no other way with intermitent BSOD-s.When you find what generates the BSOD you may RMA that stuff and the problems gets fixed.
Looking at the BSOD-s and trying to understand them is sometime useless.
