I'll probably go with the eVGA, really do love the look of it.
I can just imagine it, completely matte black and then with a light blue LED backlight.
Though when I finally get the money for my entire rig, some other board might be better

Look into the formes here for evga x58 chips alot died. I never owned one i know better. to each its own , i would still recommend the x58 asus mobo. Also u cant compare a different chipset to the x58 , i7 draw alot of power and that's where the evga die.

I didn't think you were speaking from experience.

the SLI 3 is a pos and assus are garbage.
The SLI3 board is a refresh of the SLI LE, which was, and sill is a great OC board.

I've had a craptastic time with Asus's RMA department, yet nothing but smooth sailing with EVGA in the past.

Also, least with EVGA on the phone, you actually connect with someone you can understand and is knowledgeable about their products and have proper troubleshooting techniques.

I have the SLI3, so mark me biased, I love this board and wouldn't trade it for a P6X58D...ever.
