That is such a stupid name and has no meaning. IF MS actually goes with XBOX 720 as the name....well I'm gunna be pissed and hate it...

Edit: On topic though, I'm hoping to see the next gen consoles around the end of 2012 to 2013. That gives the 360 a solid 7-8 year life.
Maybe instead of Xbox 720 they will go with something a little more clever like... Xbox 360x2 OR Xbox 12sqrt(5) OR Xbox 3 times sqrt(2x2x2x2x5)

Yuck.

Seriously, even my HD3300 IGP with 128MB Sideport and 512MB from my main RAM on my previous 790GX board played Fallout New Vegas at the same quality as my Xbox but with more fps and a higher resolution (Actual 1080p, not 640p or 720p up-scaled), people seriously under-estimate low-end cards, even a GT430 is close to a 8800GT and can play most games on medium today, even my HD545v (Essentially the Fusion GPU at 720Mhz) runs games at 1366x768.
We were talking about GPUs? I thought your last post was talking about how you can get use out of a P4. Most people have PCs but those PCs aren't too recent.

Generally the CPU won't hold the GPU back much if its of this vintage, my Athlon XP holds the 6800GS back a tiny bit unless I overclock it but a Pentium 4 is faster than the Barton core Athlon XPs.
