As much as I'd like to see a revolutionary new game, I also would hate to see another franchise ruined the same way EA ruined Red Alert 3 and C&C4 with it's "innovative" gameplay.

Yeah, consumer preferences change. Blizzard ignores that and gives us the same (great) games, EA and others go with the flow and release a few great games in a sea of average/mediocre.

Seriously?!?!? Digging on KoTor? That game is an ivory tower of glory and epicness compared to anything and everything that has come out of the Star Wars franchise since Episode V. It's even good compared to a lot of other non-SW games.

I think the reason why this MMO will be a new IP is because they want to create something new but don't want to risk ruining their already existing IP the way EA did with C&C
