No problem. I'm sure they do,they just insist SB is better, there are downsides to SB as well such as limited PCI-E lanes.

He's just a AMD hater from what I'm getting out of it,without AMD,Intel would still be pushing netburst crap, and selling cpu's at a ridiculous price.
Lol,impulse buy,or maybe he has a business selling parts?

All the very good boards are expensive, making the equation no longer valid. The best low end 890 board, the biostar ta890fxe or whatever, still blows its vrms and that thing is 150. You have to spend around 200 to get a solid board or take your chances. Coincidentally my board was 220 bucks new when I got it.

So much for being cheaper.

if you were read one of my earlier posts you would have saw that the best board for AM3 is arguably the Crosshair IV Formula. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-644-_-Product 210 bucks. Sandybridge counterparts is way more money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131700 365 bucks. To some people money actually matters and yes the equation still holds true my friend.

It's stupefying that anyone would take a 1090 over 2500k, they're the same price and boards are about the same as well.

In the metro bench thread, all use cfx 6950 users were stuck at about 80fps. A 4.4ghz 920 was only 83fps. Then compudaze comes along with his 5ghz 2500k and nails out a 92fps. LOLOLOL.

I would jump on SB for a new build but I'm waiting on BD and Ivy. But if I were buying today, SB all the way.

Intel 1155 motherboards are in the same price range as decent AM3 ones. You could get a very overclockable P67 for ~$130 and the RAMs are identically priced. The only difference is that you don't need a $50+ cooler to reach 4.4Ghz on Sandy Bridge, which in the end puts them both in the same price range.

OH NO, llmited PCI lanes, definitely go with an AMD instead.

Oh wait, x8 x8 vs x16 x16:

Look at the difference, you can draw your own conclusions.

I already showed him a build which would've had a $15 difference vs his $150 difference claim, but he just skipped over that post. That included the Hyper 212 as well. Without it, the SB build would've been cheaper compared to what his buddy just bought. LOL

Oh, and what people don't mention or talk about is that Sandy Bridge is Intel's mainstream, while the 1090T is AMD's "high end"

I got a feeling that this post will be skipped by both of them as well.

But hey, I'm just an ignorant fanboy.
