In the metro bench thread, all use cfx 6950 users were stuck at about 80fps. A 4.4ghx 920 was only 83fps. The compudaze comes along with his 4ghz 2500k and nails out a 92fps. LOLOLOL.

I would jump on SB for a new build but I'm waiting on BD and Ivy. But if I were buying today, SB all the way.
lol you know my current 2500k is compudaze's old chip Really great clocker, going to get my WC setup soon we'll see how much more I can push it.

Duh.
The i7 920 is clocked @ 4.4, the SB is @ 5.
Obvious faster processor is obvious.

Sandybridge counterparts is way more money. http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16813131700 365 bucks. To some people money actually matters and yes the equation still holds true my friend.
Haha $365? And they're saying SB is cheaper. This is why we wait for Bulldozer,it'll atleast hopefully shut the SB fanboys up.

Ok I am leaving this dumb thread now cya Intel fanboys it was a pleasure. Even after Zambezi kicks the crap out of Sandybridge intel fanboys will be saying oh but it has 8 cores and sandybridge only has 4 cores. lol you guys never cease to amaze me. I hope I don't become like all of you when I buy an Intel CPU again.

Heavy MG, if you go back and look at my posts you will see there is no reasoning with these people and they all will just gang up on you at once. I would say it is safe to leave them all be. They are all very closed minded people, except for a few.

I also gave you +1 rep

Is that supposed to make me mad? I see no point of that post. Everyone has their preference. A lower clocked 1366 i7 is still faster, despite it's still higher price tag. 5Ghz on air? Yeah, if you like having a hot running rig.
This reminds me of the P4 days,in a way..

It's funny because you two guys keep coming up with excuses, reasons to dislike the 2500k when its an obviously superior chip. You say it requires water omg horrible, when you run a full loop yourself.

Foot in mouth much?
