Help with NB clock please?

I was told to raise it to 2.6ghz.

Does that mean I raise the CPU/NB Freq to 2.6ghz?

And for the voltage, is it the NB voltage or the CPU/NB voltage?

Thanks.

Yes, CPU/NB freq & CPU/NB voltage (not NB voltage).
It makes a big difference in memory bandwidth/accessibility.

Will I notice an increase in performance when gaming if I raise it up from 2ghz to 2.6?

Even a small NB OC will give a decent performance boost

At the moment, I tested 2.6ghz at 1.75v and BSOD right as the Intel Burn completion window popped up (5 runs).

How much higher can I keep raising the CPU/NB voltage before it's unsafe to do so?

Oh and btw, where would I notice the performance boost? Is it just overall boost or does it help in certain situations in gaming?

And also, is 2.6ghz NB too high for my current CPU clock speed and RAM timing?

ONE POINT SEVENTY FIVE V--
I think you may be changing the wrong value here, CPU-NB voltage stock is what... 1.15V? You most of the time never ever need over 1.4V

Overall I'm pretty sure

Sorry, typo on my part.

I meant to say 1.275 xD

I just tested it at 1.2875 and it passed 5 runs. I'm going to see if it can pass 20 runs right now.

Okay, it just passed 20 runs of Intel Burn Test using 3000MB of memory.

Speed is 2.6ghz at 1.2875v.

Max CPU core temp is 52C.

Does that look stable enough to you?

However, I've ran into a problem. The computer crashed while it was idling whereas it passed 20 runs of IBT just fine.

Could this be because I have Cool N Quiet enabled?
