Instead of the ASUS Maximus IV?
Anyone?

Also noticed the Noctua NH-14 won't fit on a 1155 board. Any other suggestions?

I actually got the deluxe board instead of one of the enthusiast options. I think it should be sufficient unless you're trying to clock to 5.0+GHz.

As far as the Noctua NH-D14 not being compatable, I'm not sure where you heard that, but from other's posts it seems to be compatable (just for example, seen lots of other threads where the Noctua is recommended for LGA 1155):

Anyway good luck.
Thank You OCN!

Thanks. I found out it must be a misprint on tiger direct about the Noctua. It says it does fit from the Noctua website.

Thanks again.

No it's just not update due to LGA 1155 being new.
Let me just make this clear LGA 1156 and 1155 CPU coolers are INTER-COMPATIBLE. So any older coolers advertised to work with 1156 WILL work with 1155.
