Lol, no it wasn't, was just less likely to happen.

I've heard the new slims don't even RROD.

They turn off if they reach a certain temperature.

But yeah, Jaspers could still RROD.

Very cool mod, what are your plans about the console's chassis?

Why would a X360 Slim RROD?
RROD is ancient syndrome of old X360 consoles, it has been fixed 3 years ago (jasper).

No idea, I gave it to a friend to have afterwards. I watched him play Metro for a good hour. It worked fantastic.

They do RROD still, I have seen it happen, might not be due to the temps, might be, either way it still runs too hot in my opinion with the stock cooler.

I don't think a Jasper RROD is very common. And my Slim runs so quiet and has never shutoff due to temp I don't think it's ever going via RROD either. I searched youtube the other day and could only find fake videos with the hard drive unplugged or video cords unplugged.

I RROD'ed every (3) 360 I had (4 people playing it religiously in my house)... Until the Jasper.

I still have a Jasper Arcade model that I moved to my room after I got a Slim (specifically so I could put the old in my room, lol). I bought it when they first released, that one got 2 years of time on it (all the others RROD'ed in 1 year) with no other Xbox in the house. Still going strong with Fight Night, Madden, Forza 3, and Netflix on it everyday. It still wears the 120GB HD of the Falcon mobo'ed Elite console I had before it that RROD'ed in 1 year. LOL

But THIS, is still VERY cool.
