Thread Starter
So i just bought a 40gig ssd to use as a bootdrive and after installing windows 7 on it, i cant see my 750gig hdd. Could it be because its still holding my old windows 7 install on it? If so how do i format it within the windows 7 install on the ssd.

THanks for any replies and help.

btw i bought the intel x25-v

you need to go into disk management inside windows. Format or just label the drive if you want to keep the existing data on it

Thanks for quick reply question though. In disk management it upon right clicking my hdd it gives me the option to A. Covert to dynamic disk or B. Convert to GPT Disk. is either of these options what i want?
