New Sandy Bridge Build

Thread Starter
Hello OCN community,
I'm building a new gaming rig for someone else and was looking for tips/comments/suggestions on anything that I put in the wish list. Also, the reason I picked that particular case and RAM was because it was a combo price, so if you are confused that is the reason why.

http://secure.newegg.com/WishList/Pu...umber=19045827

Also I planned on getting an ASUS monitor with the build but most of them have a TN display. Is it worth an extra $300 to get an IPS monitor or should he stick with TN for faster response times? Thanks.

Yea same here. I like the Lanboy Air case from Antec but the person doesn't like it so... Any other good cases for around $100? Maybe a HAF 922?

Something like an Antec 900 or 300 or something..??200..??
If the SSD is just for a boot drive keep it. if it is for somehting where it is being written to i would suggest a OCZ Vertex2. the read speed is almost as fast and the write speed is much faster

Possibly different mobo..??

There isn't much of a choice for 1155 motherboards yet on newegg. I guess most companies are still shipping them out. But the SSD is going to be mainly for the OS and some games with long load times like the new Elder Scrolls V.
