replacing puny veiwsonic 19"

Thread Starter
i just purchased an asus gtx 470 and i'm looking to upgrade my puny little veiwsonic 19". i'm thinking of either going ips or a inexpensive benq 24" tn. (my price range is between $320 and $200 canadian)

the ips panels i'm looking at are either the Dell U2211H or the NEC EA231WMI-BK, in terms of tn panels i'm thinking the Benq G2420HD 24" or the more expensive asus VE278Q 27".

I'm not sure which type i should get i want a new monitor now, but i also want something that will last me for quite a while. what do you guys think, should i get a smaller tn now or save up that extra $100 or so for the ips or extremely large tn? also how much would i notice the colour difference between a tn and an ips?

thanks alot
