Would this count as stable? - Page 2

yeah it's kind of pointless to continue running prime95 once a worker has failed. all you know then is that one of your cores is weaker then the others, also your cpu won't be producing as much heat as it would otherwise be if all cores were active

I like to have a bit of a higher Ref clock, i dunno just do.

New setting are working so far

same ram timings (6-8-6-24)
bumped cpu vcore to 1.431
dropped cpu/nb down to 1.33 (is this still too high?)
dropped DRAM v down to 1.675

HT is @ 2004.7
NB is @ 2895.6
Bus is @ 222.8
Multi x 18

Well those settings are stable on "Blend" for an hour and 20 mins before worker #6 this time gives an error.

Any suggestions?

Another thought: Could it be the temprature of my CPU causing it to fail? It peaks out at 58c

You could also try running ibt as it may find the instability a lot quicker.

If you were to use intelburntest and run a maximum test, you would only need to run about 10-30 tests to indicate stability, none of this p95 24hrs bullsh-t. By the way, 10-30 test on intelburntest takes anywhere from and 1-4 hours.

edit: even 5 test on intelburntest indicates good stability, and that takes about 30 mins depending on how much ram you have.

Thanks to the both of you! +1
That program threw me off for a bit because i have an AMD, and thats a Intel prog.

I'm at school right now, so I'll vnc it, and start testing

Overclocking on the go ftw!

EDIT: Test started, maximum stress level, times to run: 30, threads auto
