Thread Starter
Hello,im looking for 2.1 speakers for music, mostly electronic so bass and power are important,i'll be probably getting them from ebay since amazon isn't shipping most electronics to my country.
Also i'm not going to pay more than 100$.

Edit : Budget is up to about 150$

I saw these Altec Lansing speakers that had pretty good base and they were roughly around $100 dollars in my computer store.

Try and look at these:

1) Expressionist Plus FX302 - http://www.alteclansing.com/ae/us/co...mputerspeakers

2) Octane 7 - VS4621 - http://www.alteclansing.com/ae/us/co...mputerspeakers

I tested both speakers and for the price they have outstanding base, of course the Octane 7 has better speakers because the tweeters a bit bigger than the FX302 but the FX sounded real good! It's also pretty good for 55~80 dollar speaker sets!

Yeah i also thought of Altec Lansing,i heard alot of good reviews on theyr speakers..
I also read some good reviews about the octane 7 which impressed me,so theyr my choice for now,any other suggestions?
Also how big is the octane 7? because i don't have much space on my desktop, and is it okay if i put my speaking behind my monitor? will it affect the sound?

The octane 7 has its speaker tweeters pointing downwards so even if you put it behind your monitors they still sound good, though they aren't really that big they should fit to the side of your monitor.

That downward-pointing speaker is not a tweeter... It's the midrange driver.
And due to that the midrange sounds weird and resonant.
I wouldn't buy those if your ears are above the table level.

The bass is decent for a speaker of that price though.

Swan M-10

People complain that the subwoofer isn't all that powerful though.

Best buy is selling the Klipsch ProMedia 2.1's for 155 though. People love the subwoofer on this one.
