So I recently sent my 5870 to you guys( RMA number xxxxxxx) and it should be coming within a few days. I think that the model 5870 that I have sent in has been discontinued and has been discontinued since late 2010(Reference 1GB model, non gamer edition). Your tech department said that if you guys did not have these models in stock, then you could send me the next card up, which is the 6970 according to benchmarks(the 6950 is actually behind the 5870 in some games according to various benchmark sources). Therefore, if you guys do not have the same model 5870 in stock(I only want a reference card, no Vapor-X/anything not made directly from ATI/AMD as my model is reference), I think you should replace my 5870 with a 6970 as like I said it is the next card up. Just letting you know so you guys know not to give me a non reference card and not a 6950 but a reference 6970.

Thanks!

I'm hoping for a 6970. The 6950 is actually behind the 6950 in a couple games.

say what?
it's behind itself in a couple of games?

Alright, so they are sending me a new model of the card I sent in. I didn't think they still made them, but I guess they do.
