I am disgusted by the people who go to places like the Geek Squad or Microcenter to have there PC cleaned up from viruses or because it hasn't had the temp files cleaned in 5 years and they don't know how to do it.....those are the people who deserve to be ripped off when it happens and the same people who will be crying foul in 2-4 yrs when GPU acceleration is mainstream and they are still running windows XP service pack 2 or 3 and nobody is supporting them anymore.
You act like all driver updates are a good thing. Half the time when I update it ends up being a bad thing. If it's not broke, don't fix it. Additionally, half the crap they fix in an update has nothing to do with me, it's often performance increases on games I won't even be playing.
Like Corky said earlier in the thread, there is literally no need to update if your performance is what you would expect and/or need, and you're stable.
