that said, my Chrome is saying 11.something. why is the article talking about Chrome 10???
Heh, since coming to Uni I've had less time to be posting, so havn't been around as much. Still try to catch up where I can.
As to everyone else telling me I'm an idiot and I can get all those extensions for chrome or they are worthless, then please re-read my post. Yes, not all those are firefox-exclusive, but not all of them exist in the same form for chrome, and that's not an extensive list, so there are a fair few I use that don't have alternatives or ports (e.g: HTTPS everywhere). NoScript is not just another version of AdBlock either, please don't run with that misinterpretation.
I also want to be able to allow people to use my computer without having to worry about my password collection being open. Firefox supports a master password, and until Chrome does the same (or, better yet, goes beyond it and offers Seahorse/Kwallet integration) I simply won't use it.
I want certain functionality, and as far as I know, Chrome can't offer me that functionality. If all other things were equal, and chrome were faster, I'd switch, but they are not, and I'm not. I use what is best for me, and Firefox still offers me that. By all means, the day Chrome can support that stuff, I'll happily use it - I will use what is best for me, and at the moment, that's Firefox.
