Which memory to buy for me new system?

Thread Starter
I'm planning on building a new system soon and have chosen the Asus Sabertooth P67 and Core i7-2600K as my components. Now I'm looking at dual channel memory and want it to be 6GB or more preferably 8GB and it should run at DDR3-1800 or more (I read in the Sabertooth P67 manual that DDR3-1800 memory runs at 1600MHz so I would like to avoid 1800 memory if possible; DDR3-1866 maybe?). I've wanted to get Corsair XMS3 or Dominator memory but I'll let you help me with my choices. I'd prefer as low timings as possible. I won't be overclocking neither the CPU nor memory (unless memory overclock is required for stock CPU speed).

So having said all this, please let me know what are my choices here.

Thanks!

I just looked through Newegg and these are the memories that fit my criteria:

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-455-_-Product

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-142-_-Product

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...-562-_-Product

Which one would you get and why?

I would say get Corsair Vangeance 1866mhz,its better than xms3 & will be best for your needs.

Do all of them use the same memory chip and if not, which one is currently the best performer?

I'm pretty sure those all use the same ICs, pretty much what heatsinks do you prefer?
I've always liked corsair, they do heavy compatibility testing, they pretty much always work with every board at least.
The Patriots have a slightly looser tRCD timing, wouldn't be anything noticeable in everyday tasks though.

Used to, elpida hypers are EOL, can't get anything with hyper ICs new in the stores anymore. The new Dominator GT & GTX is the same PSC chips that are everywhere lately.
