Ok, got it painted then I started to mount everything. I've also cut the top panel and will start to cut that up to mount the fans/rad.

Things are moving quickly, although this case is pretty spacious as far as HTPC cases go. I think I could finish this by the end of the weekend. Need to mount the rad, plumb things up, and tackle the wiring still.

Everything is in place. Next step is to plumb it up but I'm going to take a break from it and put my main system back together. I have to take the loop apart and tear it all down to swap the rads for this build. However being without my main rig is killing me so I'm going to switch gears for a couple days.

What sound card is that picture? I need a sound card that size as my EVGA mobo has this huge north bridge heatsink preventing me from getting a longer X1 sound card...

it's a special daughter card that came with his motherboard.

Yea, it's just a slightly souped up onboard chipset on a card to lower the noise floor. I know MSI sends out replacements for boards that had missing cards...

Update:

My fingers ache. Enzotech rotary barbs suck! Well they don't suck, but they are smaller than Bitspower barbs in general which fit Primochill nice and tight. I had to use some clamps and ties where I used to live dangerously w/o them. Will have to order 7/16 Primo and redo this whole thing, argh.

I'll get some pics up in a few. Having some trouble with the headers, they won't work right... it's not me! The downside to puny cases is having to dismantle the whole darn thing to make changes. doh.gif

I used AC F12 fans for this rig. I've used them before as case fans but only recently as radiator fans in pull config. They are quiet and blow decently hard. Call me crazy but I like them better than AP-15s because there's less motor hum and all you here is air noise.

Which headers do you mean? And the Etech barbs? Can't wait to see pics though!

The power/hd led/fromt panel connections... I had them mixed up and then had to dismantle the front of the case to fix it.

The Enzo rotary barbs are smaller ID than Bitspower and that totally threw me cuz my hoses now all leak w/o clamps. mad.gif

I placed an order for BP fittings from jab-tech, and am switching to a mcp35x res. I've got a spare 35x top laying around and the extra space will help with routing. I've already done as much as I could by hiding wires under the board but more space is even better. Oh I also ordered a new top panel from SS. I'll mount the rad/fans to an uncut top panel instead of the halves. It'll be cleaner this way.

Looks great, sorry to hear about the Enzotech fittings though; worth noting for my future builds.

Silverstone Rocks. I ordered a new top panel on Thurs and received it on Sat morning. I'll cut this new panel up today. The new fittings should get here on tuesday and I'll be able to finalize the build.

Oh I've glued the 5 1/4 and 3 1/2 panel blanks together and will cut the backs out and glue them to the front panel. Instead of seeing the res and rad peeking thru, it'll be all covered up.

What do you guys think so far?
