The VRMs control power to the CPU... read the orange link in my sig if you want more info. Cooling is important because you run a 4+1 phase on a power-heavy 125W x6. Most 4+1s aren't even acceptable with 125W x6 & OC, only a few quality ones can and with moderate OCs (i.e. <1.475V) only.

Just read your thread, amazing man! Didn't realise there was so much involved with motherboards and power. Should really have read up on this instead of acting like an excited child and buying everything fast!
