[XBITLABS] AMD Brazos Platform and AMD E-350 (Zacate) CPU Review - Page 3

Doesn't it come down to $$?

I can get a AsRock E350 ~ 80 GBP while a similar Asus D525 is around 125 GBP..

Although I've read that E350 needs better support for linux based HTPC's..

My E-350 powers my HD Baseball watching experience and that's all I wanted it to do, so I'm extremely happy with it.

I just built a new HTPC with the Asus Deluxe Zacate and I am very happy with it. The kicker for me building my HTPC with it was the power usage. I am using a 85w laptop brick to provide power to it and on idle it is using 22w of power and 35w full load. The money this build will save me in electricity over the next few years will pay for itself
