GTech's Freeware Collection (Final Release!)

This is the Final Release v1.0.07 (Updated 6/03/11)
(If you can't download any more just let me know & I'll repost a new link)

PLEASE NOTE: You should have MVPS Hosts Installed on your computer, I have gotten reports this website is pretty bad with ad-ware & Popups, so if you use MVPS Hosts you shouldn't have any problems.

This is the final release, a portable program which can run from a USB drive, though you still need the latest .Net Framework Installed (3.5 & 4.0)!

You will need to install the latest
.Net Framework 4.0, if you wish to use the software.

Please take the time to comment & leave suggestions below, thanks!

Has anyone got a chance to try this yet?

I'm working on a really cool All In One program strictly for downloading free software, though it's nothing special....

Basically the program will have a bunch of links to all the best freeware, along with some other simple stuff..

Here is a screen shot of one of the forms... (VB.net Programming)

See Forms Below to see what has been put in the program so far, and please REMEMBER I NEED LINKS!

I Need Suggestions if you guys gottem.. biggrin.gif

Kind of, but Ninite allows you to select/configure a package of installers to, then you have to run Ninite to start the download process. My program will allow you download the programs you select one at a time, so there is no configuration package needed...

Quite a few of the programs I'll be recommending in my software won't be found in Ninite, as you can see from the screen shot in the OP, which is only one of numerous forms.

I'm trying to make it organized and simple to use, that way you can skip the selection process and download the specific kind of software you are looking for quickly!

(I'm going to be using this program because I do A LOT of PC Repair & it makes it really convenient vs Ninite.)

It's just hyperlinks to the FTP or Download Page....

Though because of agreements, some links will only take you to the agreement page, where one must agree to terms before downloading, couldn't skip those...obviously.

It's not legal to package installers within a program without express written consent from the software makers, and that would be too much work, truly! So rather than include a bunch of installers, and thereby beefing up the size of the program, the user can simply download what they want from the author's website, no funny business.

Anyone have any suggestions on features to add or recommendations on Freeware to list?

I want to make it a nice software for everyone to use...

(I like it more than Ninite myself, but I'm biased being the creator.)
