I'm with disturbed. The file is clean for one.

It's hosted on a free upload site, just like megaupload, rapidshare, and all the other free ones it has adds.

He asked for opinions on what you guys would add to it to make it more rounded, not that he expects it to take over as a super useful tool. Honestly from what I've seen in the pics, I've never heard of some of those programs, so why not try them out. If he has people who actually use it, good for him. Most the people on here who are ignorant jerks probably sit at home in the basement and criticize people on here about what they'd never accomplish themselves.

Also, just because someone is on OCN doesn't mean they know anything about overclock or what not as they may just be starting and this could be useful for them. Especially with the whole rep and post count. Rep means absolutely nothing half the time, I've seen mods on here say inappropriate and near racist things. Post count doesn't mean anything either as you could be typing two word posts and it'd still go to your count. So yes, he is a troll.

This site is supposed to be for helping others and having fun. Not tearing em apart because it's something you wont use, or don't see a use for when others may.

To Gtech: Props to you. Downloaded it and I think it will be a very useful piece of software. Direct links to pretty much every freeware program I've used. (other than poweriso lol)

A fine example of one of the many troll on here who don't read the posts completely... The file is fine. The hosting site is spammed with adds like stated above.

is not that those are no useful links to have.... "trolling" is well deserved because that program is a pointless joke, or a homework assignment for a 5th grade computer class.

a simply thread showing the links would have sufficed. if you want to impress your clients (LOL) make a webpage listing all those helpful links, and put the URL in your construction paper DIY business card. creating an exe just to list a few hyperlinks is borderline retarded.

it was a nice job of setting up a condenced listing of freeware apps

he did it on his own time and asked for nothing in return
either use it or just dont

but for free theres really nothing to complain about

This program is all of 933 KB, if you think someone is going to ruin their reputation as a programmer by making Mal-ware in a small free program, you have got to be a troll...

The program serves a very specific purpose, in that purpose it has succeeded, and it was given out as a free program, so there isn't much to complain about, either use it or don't, PERIOD.

As far as the asinine jerks coming in here accusing me of writing malware and calling for me to get banned, well, I think these trolls need to be dealt with, they are overly obvious in many threads, and it's time that the hammer get's dropped on them...

Nevertheless, I'm going to let that go, for now, I need to update this, I found one link was dead, Firefox... So, I'll post a final revision soon.. As I plan on adding some more links and changing the the color scheme some..

Haven't used it yet, so it might already do this. When you click a link, does it automatic download, or bring the user to the page where they have to manually download it themselves? If not, I think that would be a great feature. In a browser like Chrome, if you hold the mouse over a download link, it will tell you the address.

Sorry you got jerks coming in here, man. I agree in constructive criticism, but some of it is ridiculous. Wouldn't even say they're trolls, just plain a-holes.

From pictures, though, I would recommend the Misc. page with the browsers to be a little bit more organized. I imagine most of your clients will be your user base and they would benefit a bit from a more formal layout.

It will either automatically download by going to the download page, or it will take you to the page where you have to select which operating system or version to install, some pages are just where you agree to the terms of service, for it's not legal to skip that page, unfortunately...

So, as you can see, I had to design it without crossing any legal lines, so to answer your question, yes, sometimes you have to manually download the software, though this isn't much of a hassle as it's only a click or 2 away.

I'm not sure what you mean about the browser bit, if you could elaborate a little more in depth that would be very helpful. Do you mean make a browser like page within the program? I'm always willing to work on my software, if you think that would help the user a lot, I'd be more than willing to put a browser like page within the software...

Ok, Only 1 Form Left Now!!!! (Then I'll be adding suggestions asap, as in tonight!) I want to be done with this tonight or tomorrow at the latest!

This page specifically. Compared to how you labeled the other pages in yellow sub-heading and such. Like make the Firefox, Chrome, and Opera links Yellow, but still click-able, maybe. It just seems somewhat 'out-of-place' compared to the other pics of the program. Just my opinion, though .

Oh, and I'd recommend MSE for a option for Security Programs/Anti-Virus Programs .

Ah ok, I'm following you now.

Yeah I need to rework the pages better, definitely....

BTW: MSE is in the Computer Protection Page

Ah, then I'm just blind.

But yes, your tool is very helpful, IMO. When I go home, my dad (who is actually fairly knowledgable about troubleshooting a computer) always asks me a question about a certain program, or where to get it from. It's helpful when I help people at school with their own personal computers.

Also, is Malwarebytes Anti-Malware on your Computer Protection Page? I will be downloading it when I get out of class today to check it out even more .
