Looking to move from H50 to Silver Arrow - Page 2

I'm getting a SA myself, but got a different setup than you. It should be a decent upgrade over a H50, but is it justified at say over $80 from a H50? Difficult to say. The 5C difference does sound like a realistic number though.

Well 5 C is a pretty big difference. Especially when you start comparing high end coolers. Also, if I got the SA, I would sell my H50 to cover for some of the money spent.

Wow, that's a nice chip you've got there. Bet you can run 4.2 under 1.3 Vcore

your prolly right. i have tried to go further but im pretty sure my 12 gigs or ram is holding me back but i was happy that i got a 4ghz stable oc with 1.21 with the 12 gigs or ram and from what i have heard having all ram slots occupied while OCing is somewhat of a hit or miss with these 1366 platforms. and i have always thought my chip was somewhat average but maybe it is somewhat good. i dont know. who knows. anyways. thank you
