Need help with sleeving

Thread Starter
Alright so I think I want to give the whole sleeving thing a try.

I was looking through threads and really couldn't get an answer or maybe I overlocked it.
Since I have the HAF-X I am planning on going with red, black and white sleevling and white heat shrink I am thinking.

Where is the best place to pick up colored sleevling? Mdpc the only place that sells "Decent" colored sleeving?
I am thinking I will pick up the black sleeving from furry letters but he doesn't offer any other colors does he?

I really don't want to pay oversees shipping so is there a seller in the United States that is decent that sells colored sleeving?

Would really appreciate an answer.

go onto ebay check out 450 paracord, its super high quality nylon woven chord. you can get like a hundred feet or so for around 6 buck with shipping and then you can buy about 50feet of heatshrink for another $6-8 bucks. its so much you'll ave enough for 5 or 6 computers and its the same price as buying a kit + its not that plasticy crap, its the stuff thats used in parachutes. and you can never ever ever ever have enough heatshrink
atleast check it out for the amount you get its 5x cheaper.

you can usually buy parachord at any army/navy store and lots of heat shrink at any electronic or hobby shop.

hope this helps you like it did me! good luck with your sleeving it takes forEVER well only like 9 or 10 hours

edit: 550 works too its just a little bigger cuz it has thicker material

Yeah definitely let me know when it gets there.

I got another question, would it look bad if for example I got
Black Sleeve from FurryLetters
White Sleeve from Kobra
Red Sleeve from MDXPC?

Or should I stick to 1 brand if I end up sleeving

Hmm, I am actually really interested now. From the comparison thread it doesn't look like that it's going to be so bad. I could everything that I want for under $40 or even cheaper. I am really intrigued.

Yeah, well with the price difference, I think I might just go with the parachute. Can't beat that price for sure.
