Monitors the same prices even after 2-3 yrs of owning one

Thread Starter
you know something computer monitors have stayed the same prices for the most part for the past 2-3 years. My 25.5 inch monitor still costs in the 300-400 dollar price zone. Why wouldn't the technology get cheaper over time? Of course my model isn't sold anymore but the brand an inches is.

The technology does get cheaper over time... as reflected in the price of new models.
Once again...

The same brand's 25.5" screen today is likely not the same it was 3 years ago.

There are plenty of decent monitors for like $130-$150 when deals come along, as opposed to $250-300 they used to be.
