If all you want to do is extend the desktop, the physx card should work just fine. No need to buy another GTX 580 if that is all you want to do with the 3rd monitor.

well I might get a second one when the prices drop a bit. No sense in having 2 at the moment though, especially since kepler is coming out soon.
