When folding, Do viewers have to be open?

Thread Starter
Do the viewers have to be open when folding? I'm folding right now on my cpu and gpu and have both viewers open. When the viewers are closed tho my cpu usage drops and it doesn't seem like it is doing anything. Is this correct?

Also when you open multiple viewers does this mean it will work faster?

lol sorry beginner here. Tried Google but failed to find anything relevant

I remember reading through the essentials thread that you can download a program that puts the viewer in the background.

Tried to look for it now, but didnt see it, but you should take a look

I think you need 50K folding points to be able to see your folding rank on your forum name,

Yeah, after you complete a unit you should be listed on there, not sure how long you have to wait though

Let me add a rep for only having a minor issue like when your name appears. The rep is for getting all setup and running on your own.+rep.

I wanted to add that you could or perhaps should look for chances to clear things up for others that are having setup issues as I appears you handle this well.
