Much better CPU cooling with the H70
Much better PC case with good air cooling...

Hmm, well 8GB Corsair was requested. I've had bad experiences just lately with OCZ so I don't want to go with them. I have an old Antec 900 laying around, but it was also requested that the case be quiet. I'm currently using a CM Storm Sniper and it's much quieter than both my A900 and my P182.

Watercooling was put on the table as an option, actually. I just have no experience with it at all. Would I need some coolant with that?

No qualms on having a better motherboard, but they asked for the Asus one.

Trying to stay within the requests myself whilst waxing on some knowledge of my own...

It's a system for someone else and I don't think they have anything at the moment I'm finding out whether they need an OS and I assume they have mouse, monitor and keyboard...

So why crossfire 2 Mid high end cards when they can just go high end and possible crossfire or SLI later?

BTW as for Op, 4.0ghz should be no prob on that rig.

No idea, to be honest! I'm just following their instructions, but I'm ignoring logic because if they buy it I'll get to benchmark it before I ship it =D

Oh and again the ATI cards were requested. If it were up to me it'd be GTX570 SLI in there =D PMing you now about Steam mate
The board is pretty nice, I like it lotta more than Crosshair IV for example, it's just full of faults. It has at least 2 pinned USB ports, can't see there too well cause the sound card blocks the view. It OC's pretty well, haven't noticed any complaints yet.

Lol, well if its one of those situations then HD 6580 or 6870 crossfire will probably be ok. But if client is not at least moderately experienced in PC operations you may get random phone calls cuz of driver issues.

There is nothing wrong with the build for gaming imo, its quite good (& 8GB is not overkill for a gaming rig ). But tbh, if you make a thread like this you know there is going to be differences of opinion lol

Like some other have said ditch the XFI and get an Asus Xonar soundcard. I would get an h70 its an all in one watercooling solution and would be great for oc'ing the 1090T. As for the ram its not really that good but if your on a budget and he wanted corsair go for it i guess or get some Vengeance dimms.

Oh yeah deffo. There's certain stuff they've asked for. They had a specific request so I guess they know around about what they're after but don't know about throwing it all together. I'm after more opinions so I can assess the bits I can choose, or try to convince them of better parts (like the 6950's instead of the 6850's they wanted).
