Which one is better between Asus P8P67 or BioStar TP67XE? My friend has a TP67XE. He is able to push the 2500K to 4.9G. I am thinking of getting the TP67XE but P8P67 looks good too. Is UEFI BIOS good and help OC? Thanks.

Asus all the way. New bios make overclocking a breeze. You wont be disapointed

I'd get the Asus for UEFI, it's that good.

I have a P8P67 and i get get to 5.4. It's more the chip than the motherboard.

If you're ever thinking about going CF or SLi then i'd spend $10 more and get the model above it (i think it's called P8P67 Pro). I really wish i had

Both are nice boards. Asus one is 12 Phase vs. Biostar 10 Phase but 10 usually is fine. At similar price, probably P8P67 is the way to go. Plus you can try the new toy-UEFI. Eventually, all goes to UEFI.

Just look at our Biostar TP67XE owners thread here: http://www.overclock.net/intel-mothe...-thread-w.html in intel->motherboards.

Fantastic board, best value per dollar in my opinion. New UEFI bios (308) is rock solid, people hitting above 5.7 (on LN2). A few of the regulars in the thread are running 2500k's @ 5.0GHz 24/7.

biostar ftw, dont spend the extra money on the asus unless you really need those extra features (more sata ports and whatnot)

they will both overclock the same, the biostar maybe even better

easily the best bang for buck p67 out there.. it's got uefi too

btw, search for asus p67 issues, you'll find a crapload of threads

love how people recommend asus just because it's asus... starting to sound like apple fanboys
