Well. I guess I'm beta testing this release around.
I'm at the hate cycle in my relationship with Linux. There is so much to like and yet there is so much that makes a normal person want to throw the computer they installed it and then realize that 'root' had sabotaged them into destroying their 500+$ computer and feel stupid because they were 'root' and they have no one to blame but themselves.
Not only do the fonts scale offscreen still, but chromium doesn't work. Keeps complaining about v8 not working/not installed which I f@cking installed (that is the only error I get from terminal; really helpful). So I'm just wondering if anyone else is enjoying openSUSE11.4 right now? And if so did you just take mozilla firefox and run with it because it seems that every time I gut it and remove it openSUSE throws a tantrum. I now remember why I called it the windows of Linux distros. It's either really easy or annoyingly painful.
If it wasn't for the mysterious unknown WIFI card in my netbook I would have Kubuntu on the damn netbook and have been happy; if it wasn't for MeeGo being beta I wouldn't have tried openSUSE out and have been happy; if it wasn't for Fedora b17ching and being slower than molasses I'd have given it a chance; if it wasn't for Windows sucking it's own...I'd be happy. I guess I'm in a bad mood.
Someone cd me to /happyplace....
