How to enter BIOS?

Thread Starter
Hey! I just have a few questions about overclocking, and there for, how to enter the BIOS.

Q 1: Is it safe to overclock at all? If you just increase the rate with like 2-5 at a time?

Q 2: I have a home build computer, or someone i know built it for me. With my computer coming of no certain computer "brand", how do i enter the BIOS?

(Btw, i'd love to show you my system settings, but i cant seem to figure out where to find a complete list of my components).

How is this coding/programming?

At boot generally press DEL, F1 or F2. It should tell you at the bottom "Press <key> to enter SETUP"..
I'd probably shy away from overclocking until you've read more about the underlying technologies.

To enter the BIOS its either:
F1, F2, ESC, DEL, F8, F10, F11, F12.
if none of the above work, you may want to try some combinations. Good luck OC'ing

IF you can't find your specs with default options, you can download CPU-Z and Speccy, the typical 'enter bios' keys have been mentioned above, GL
